I'm Directing an episode of MOL at Edith Wharton's estate. We used a door dolly, many tracks, and a box of Cook Lens. As the photo demonstrates, we had fun making this series.
Many of my gigs required multi-camera, live switching, RF connections, aerial filming, car rigging, and even underwater. This Hip-Hop series required syncing 14 cameras and nine microphones. At 30 frames per second, every frame counts.
Like all image makers, I strive for style and beauty as a mark of my work, not by throwing money at it but by calling on years of wisdom and tapping my resources to bring a creative team together. My job is to get them what they need.
